We are recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, located in Nantwich. Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is one of the most renowned country house hotels in Cheshire, expertly blending old-world charm with modern amenities. This award-winning property boasts 4 AA Red Star status and notable accolades for its dining.
Responsibilities
* As the Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager you will be responsible for helping manage the team overseeing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, ensuring our guests enjoy every meal and that service runs smoothly.
* You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to achieve these goals.
* You are the ultimate hospitality professional able to make each and every guest feel special and to motivate and lead a team to do the same.
* Your knowledge of food and drink will inspire others, and you will enjoy sharing your knowledge through regular training and development.
* You will lead the team in the effective delivery of department goals, planning and organising work activities, and continuously seeking improvements in ways of working.
* Being an Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Most of all, you will be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
About You
* Previous supervisory experience working in a fine dining restaurant ideally within a luxury Hotel environment is required for this role.
* With proven experience coaching and managing teams you will enjoy motivating others to be their best.
* Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation.
* You will be excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.
* Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.

* A competitive salary package of £32,905 per year plus a share of service charge.
* This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
