Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven, creative, and analytical SEO and Social Media Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This dual-role position is responsible for developing, executing, and refining strategies to drive organic traffic, increase visibility on search engines, and grow and engage audiences across social media platforms.
The ideal candidate is a proactive digital marketing professional with a strong command of SEO principles and practical experience managing and scaling social media presence for brands.
Key ResponsibilitiesSearch Engine Optimization (SEO)
* Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy and on-page optimization.
* Optimize website content, structure, metadata, and performance to improve SERP rankings.
* Monitor and analyze site performance using tools like Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
* Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in content production.
* Develop and execute link-building strategies and manage backlink profiles.
* Stay updated on algorithm changes and search engine trends to adjust strategies accordingly especially with advancement of AI.
* Produce regular SEO reports and present actionable insights.
Social Media Management
* Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok).
* Create and execute platform-specific strategies to grow followers, drive engagement, and increase brand awareness.
* Monitor social channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
* Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
* Analyze campaign and content performance to optimize future activities.
* Manage paid social media campaigns in collaboration with the paid media team (if applicable).
* Collaborate with design and content teams to produce compelling visuals and copy.
Qualifications and Experience
* 2–4 years of hands-on SEO and social media experience.
* Proficient with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush).
* Strong understanding of platform algorithms and content trends across social channels.
* Experience with social media scheduling and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
* Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
* Experience desirable with Big Commerce and Wordpress.
* Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
