Managed Care Coordinator


Location: Home-based with travel to visit clients across Kent, Sussex & Surrey (up to 90 minutes from home)


Head Office: West Kent - required to attend monthly meetings
Salary: From £32, - £34,pa
Job Type: Full-time
Requirement: Clean UK driving licence and own car


About the company


A highly established and regarded care business is seeking a Managed Care Consultant to join an already strong team! You will be coordinating live-in carers with clients across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Looking after a small group of families to ensure the best carer is matched to their needs and overseeing the process from initial enquiry through to placement.

About the Role


This role combines client care and regional care team management, offering variety and responsibility in equal measure. You are likely to have come from a care/healthcare background and have the ability to manage your own time and meet the role objectives under your own initiative.


Team fit, attitude and a passion for people are essential for this role so we are open to what healthcare experience you have.


Key Responsibilities




1. Manage live-in care services for clients across Kent, Sussex & Surrey

2. Conduct home visits, care reviews, and audits to maintain high standards

3. Build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

4. Resolve concerns promptly and ensure client satisfaction

5. Support assessments for new clients and develop tailored care plans

6. Liaise with the sales team to ensure smooth on boarding

7. Promote services within the community and identify growth opportunities

8. Supervise and support carers in your region

9. Conduct performance reviews and ensure mandatory training compliance

10. Recruit, train, and retain high-quality carers

11. Host virtual drop-in sessions for carers




Sound like you?



12. Experience in healthcare at any level but with the ability to work unsupervised, on your own initiative, managing a diary and sometimes working under pressure with competing priorities.

13. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and putting together care plans and/or risk assessments.

14. Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills

15. Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule

16. Level 3 Health & Social Care - desirable but not essential
