The Role Under supervision, a practicing healthcare professional who assists Audiologists in a range of patient care and clinical duties, both adult and paediatric patients. Offers telephone advice to patients. Carries out routine tasks in hearing aid repair clinics, including hearing aid provision, taking ear mould impressions and adaptations within departmental protocols. Provides auxiliary support to Paediatric ENT clinics, including setting up and organising the clinic rooms. Assesses and monitors patient reactions during testing at Paediatric Audiology clinics. Provides Administrative support within the Audiology Department. Provides Domicillary support in the community, within departmental protocols. To have IT skills and be familiar with Word, Excel. Car driver with the ability to travel throughout NHS Lanarkshire.
