This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational readiness of multiple sites, ensuring facilities and equipment are safe, compliant, and fully functional to support production and operational teams. Key Responsibilities: ??? Facilities & Maintenance Oversight Manage day-to-day building and equipment maintenance, including reactive repairs and planned interventions. Coordinate external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery of maintenance activities. Monitor equipment performance and availability, providing analysis and feedback to the wider Facilities team. Collaborate with Operations to prioritise maintenance tasks and plan shutdowns effectively. Support new equipment installations, including contractor coordination and site readiness. Oversee waste management processes and ensure contractor compliance with company standards. ?? Leadership & Safety Ensure all personnel and contractors operate safely on site, promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. Support the development of preventive maintenance routines and contractor control processes. Respond to emergencies and participate in the on-call rota, following escalation procedures. ?? Planning & Budgeting Obtain and coordinate quotes from subcontractors to support CAPEX/OPEX planning. Take ownership of designated work streams aligned with your expertise, driving best practices and supplier performance. Person Specification: ?? Qualifications & Experience Extensive experience in facilities or site management, ideally within industrial, logistics, or manufacturing environments. Proven track record in supervising contractors and managing third-party service providers. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with CAFM systems. IOSH qualification desirable. ?? Skills & Attributes Strong communicator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset. Organised and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.
