I am a 16 year old young man who loves music, attending the cinema, bowling, local clubs, exhibitions, museums and being out in nature and going walks. I also love socialising whilst enjoying a hot chocolate and treats.
Overview
Your role is to enable me to be independent, supporting me to achieve my potential, build friendships, and participate in activities that increase my social interaction opportunities. You will act as my chaperone in social situations and support me in daily living activities, domestic chores such as cooking and fun activities like arts and crafts.
Responsibilities
* Support my personal care and everyday tasks.
* Assist with hygiene, eating and moving around.
* Help manage daily living activities within the home.
* Participate in and encourage engagement in activities I enjoy.
* Collaborate with the wider support network and other Personal Assistants.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Outgoing, fun, and confident.
* Experience in care or supporting young people is desirable but not essential.
* Physically fit and able to move and assist.
* Customer‑oriented and able to work on a flexible basis.
* Drivers licence preferred for transport; not essential.
* Must be able to travel reliably to and from Milngavie.
* Will be required to cover the cost of a PVG Scheme Membership or Update.
Hours & Pay
* 6 hours per week on Tuesdays & Thursdays 4‑7 PM.
* Ad‑hoc support during school holidays, evenings and weekends (including Saturdays 9 AM‑2 PM).
* Any ad‑hoc support will be agreed at least one month in advance.
* Rate of pay £17.50 per hour (paid every four weeks).
