Overview of the role
Phoenix enables digital transformation in the workplace, empowering UK organisations to innovate and transform with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data, AI, security, and collaboration tools.
We are now looking for a highly experienced Account Manager who can take on the role of Public Safety Lead and build our practice in this space.
What will you be doing?
1. Build and nurture relationships with customers in the public safety field (mostly police & fire departments).
2. Work with new and existing accounts to generate Licensing and Solutions opportunities.
3. Establish trust, understand the customers' business, and work to strengthen the partnership over time.
4. Attend face-to-face customer meetings and conference calls to scope, qualify, and nurture opportunities, and demonstrate the technology to them.
5. Manage the sales pipeline for your account base and report key deals and opportunities to the Divisional Sales Manager when required.
6. Manage a renewals pipeline for all associated clients, ensuring all opportunities to upsell/cross-sell are maximized.

What are we looking for?
1. Proven experience as an account manager within IT solutions with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft product line.
2. Experience within another IT reseller environment.
3. Experience working with customers such as fire & police departments is a big advantage.
4. Experience developing, scoping, and supporting client sales cycles.
5. Demonstrate and build confidence/credibility with customers with a partnership focus.
6. A drive and hunger to build something new and take ownership of this business area.
*This role will require NPPV level 3 clearance*

Where is the role based?
Our HQ is in Pocklington (YO42), this will be a hybrid role where 2-3 days per week in the office is expected.
