Maintenance Engineer (26595) Wincanton, England
Salary: £45,500 – £47,500 per annum. Monday – Friday with early finish on Fridays. 33 days holiday, increasing holiday, additional leave for birthday, electric charging, career progression & development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Planned maintenance inspections and review of parts used
- Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on a range of equipment
- Monitor plant conditions; report defects and repair machinery
- Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments
- Report on plant performance using systems, ensuring action on non-conformance issues
- Work on a range of valves & pumps
- Support production and continuous improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Formal engineering qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or apprenticeship trained
- Knowledge of continuous improvement
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
- Experience in food, packaging, drink or manufacturing environments
