Overview
Shore Medical Group are seeking a Medical Records Administrator to join our friendly team based at our Parkstone Tower Practice on a 12 month Fixed Term contract.
The Medical Records Administrator provides accurate, efficient and punctual medical records administration to patients and staff by way of both data input and extraction from the Shore Medical's designated clinical system. To provide a high quality administration service to the practice and its patients.
Responsibilities
* Dealing with patient queries by phone
* Coding information into the practice clinical system
* Update patient records in a timely and accurate manner
* Liaising with healthcare professionals, staff members, patients, solicitors and other external organisations
* Processing patient links
* Processing relevant paperwork for PCSE
Requirements / Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar administrative role
* Ability to analyse and interpret medical data accurately
* High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Educated to a high standard at GCSE level in Maths, English or equivalent
* Fully conversant in Microsoft Office packages
