As a Product Specialist, you will support the definition, maintenance and implementation of product line strategies/roadmaps and technology plans for our data center and networking products. In this position you will: Support New Product Introduction activities including developing cases for new products, features, opportunity sizing, revenue potential, and cost analysis. Champion cross-functional activities to improve performance of product lines including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, quality and delivery. Conduct voice of the customer (VOC), primary, secondary and observational research to facilitate development of product plans, and identification of new products and service opportunities. Develop quantified value propositions to clearly articulate differentiation of product to customers, channel partners and sales. Support the marketing communications team to develop appropriate collateral support for catalogs, launch kits, competitive alerts, sales communications, instruction sheets, etc. Serve as subject matter expert for data solutions products to support internal team, field sales, channel partners and end customers as required. Manage product lifecycle and data analysis for assigned portfolio including ERP, CRM and PIM business systems. Suggest and drive process improvements within the product management function to increase efficiency and supporting functions to improve customer experience. YOU HAVE: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business or related field is required. Ideally 3 years of marketing, project management, data analysis, pricing or new product development experience Experience in the Data Center and/or IT Networking sector or demonstrated mechanical proficiency is preferred. Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or JD Edwards and Excel/Power BI or equivalent. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet committed deadlines. Work will require meeting with customers, suppliers, partners in the field and will include meetings after normal business hours. Role will require ~20% travel.
