Ths permanent Care Worker role - Glenfield Road West, Galashiels development involves working on a 4 on 4 off rota, 17.5 - 30 hours per week. This rota is a rolling rota to support a work life balance. You will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered flexibly, innovatively and in a dignified, safe and stimulating way.
Our Very Sheltered Services are development - based and provide enhanced provision to support adults with varying needs including physically disabled, learning disabailites, older adults and vulnerable adults in their own homes to live as independantly as they are able with a responsive service adapting to their housing support plans.
About You
Hanover are looking for someone to be able to be registered as a support worker in an audit social care services with SSSC within 3 months of beginning the role.
Awareness of person- centred care
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Good communication skills
Good team working
Hours are flexible covering early and late shifts 365 days per year
Some travel may be required for training and to provide essential cover
