Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role will involve a variety of tasks to support the businesss financial operations and client accounts, with first-class training provided to help you succeed.
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
* Process financial transactions on client matters with accuracy
* Post payments, receipts, and transfers promptly
* Set up payments (Cheques, BACS, TT) on online banking platforms
* Allocate funds received into the bank account
* Ensure compliance with company policies for client account payments
* Address and resolve fee earner queries
* Assist with bank reconciliations
* Perform additional ad hoc duties as needed
Getting to Know You
* Prior experience in an office or accounts team
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Numerically proficient with GCSE-level education
* Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
