Overview
Waking Night Support Worker (Full Time) – Brentwood – £12.67ph – Driver required. This role operates on a weekend on/weekend off basis, alternating three nights one week and four nights the next week. Drivers are essential and must have access to their own vehicle. Shift patterns include Early, Lates, weekend work, occasional nights and Bank Holiday shifts. Examples of shifts: 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm and 10pm-8am.
Responsibilities
* Support residents to gain more independence in their daily lives.
* Work within a dynamic team to support a group of people in a residential setting.
* Enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care and encouraging them to access local communities.
* Engage residents in activities (e.g., swimming, bowling, visiting parks, cinemas or places of interest) and support socialisation.
* Aim to help individuals achieve their goals, whether that means cooking dinner independently or preparing for holidays.

Requirements
* We’re looking for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing quality of life.
* No prior experience required; a genuine caring attitude, willingness to learn and a desire to develop are valued.
* Must have, or be able to obtain, access to a vehicle for this driver-required role.
