Position: Bridge/Structure Inspector

6. Conducting General and Principal inspections of Highway Structures following the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges
7. Recording and reporting inspections using Structures Management System in accordance with CSS Bridge Condition Index
8. Interpreting bridge structure defects in materials like steel and concrete
9. Reporting urgent and severe defects to ensure safety and performance
10. Documenting defects on-site and via online management systems
11. Coordinating between departments, managing traffic, access, and briefing sheets
12. Technical knowledge of bridge structures
13. Experience in Civil Engineering related to highway structures inspection and maintenance
14. Understanding of construction materials and methods
15. Knowledge of Health and Safety and CDM 2015 regulations
16. Experience managing and maintaining road network assets
17. Relevant discipline experience, preferably in structural or building work
18. Valid UK driving license
