We are looking for a Manager in our Insurance and Asset & Wealth Management (I&AWM) practice to help leading financial services firms manage risk, meet regulatory expectations, and deliver sustainable value.
About The Role
As a Manager, you’ll lead high‑impact engagements, develop our propositions, and drive relationships that create long‑term value. You will work with senior stakeholders across the industry, supporting their strategic priorities and guiding them through transformation, assurance, and regulatory change.
What Your Days Will Look Like
* Regulatory Advisory: Lead projects on prudential and conduct regulation, board effectiveness, implementation of Consumer Duty, and major regulatory change initiatives.
* Risk & Control Advisory: Design, implement, and optimise enterprise risk frameworks and financial reporting controls (e.g. SOx/ICFR), conduct capital and liquidity assessments, and improve governance.
* Sustainability Advisory: Advise clients on sustainability strategy, climate risk, ESG reporting (e.g. TCFD, Net Zero), and integrate sustainability into risk and business processes.
* Internal Audit: Scope, deliver, and report on internal audit and assurance engagements, providing actionable insights to strengthen client governance and control environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring outputs are high quality, commercially relevant, and on time.
* Build and maintain trusted senior relationships, acting as a go‑to advisor and identifying opportunities to bring value.
* Actively contribute to practice growth by originating, developing, and converting new opportunities, and supporting proposals and bids.
* Lead, coach, and develop junior team members; foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
* Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of industry, regulatory, and ESG developments, translating them into client impact and proposition enhancements.
* Collaborate with other PwC specialists to provide joined‑up solutions across regulatory, risk, finance, technology, and sustainability disciplines.
This Role Is For You If You Have
* Proven track record in delivering advisory or assurance engagements in regulatory change, risk & controls, sustainability/ESG, or internal audit.
* Experience managing multiple projects and teams in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to develop and innovate client propositions and translate market trends into solutions.
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills, confident operating at senior client levels.
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how complex organisations operate.
* Analytical and strategic thinking, with sound judgment in high‑pressure situations.
