I’m working with a well-established professional services group with multiple trading businesses, looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their finance team. You’ll be involved in processing payments, receipts, and fund movements – the sort of role that keeps the wheels turning and makes a big difference to how smoothly the business operates day‑to‑day.
You’d be joining a small, collaborative team that includes a Transactional Manager, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, and Finance Director – so there’s plenty of support and visibility. It’s hands‑on, varied, and ideal for someone who likes working with accuracy and accountability in a regulated environment.
* Processing payments and invoices, managing receipts, and checking documentation
* Supporting the month‑end process and helping ensure compliance across multiple business areas
* Exposure to client money handling (training provided if you’re new to this)

Who this would suit:
Someone with 2+ years in transactional finance (AP, AR, or similar), ideally with experience in a regulated or client money environment such as legal, pensions, banking, or insurance. You’ll be detail‑focused, calm under pressure, and comfortable juggling deadlines.
