Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Year 2 General Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive primary school in the Chorlton (M20) area. This is a two‑form entry school with a strong reputation, rated Good by Ofsted with several Outstanding elements highlighted in its provision. Starting after the Easter break, this role will continue for the remainder of the academic year. As a Year 2 General Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support daily lessons, help deliver small‑group activities, and contribute to creating an engaging and nurturing classroom environment. You’ll play an important role in supporting pupils’ progress in core areas and helping them navigate the final term of Key Stage 1 with confidence. The ideal candidate will have experience working within primary settings—preferably KS1—and should bring a positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
