Business Development Manager
An excellent opportunity for a proven sales professional within the solar distribution and wholesale sector. This role is ideal for someone confident in developing relationships and driving growth across electrical wholesalers, distribution networks, installer channels, and commercial clients.
The Role
* Take ownership of the Central UK region, driving B2B sales across established and new accounts within the solar and renewables marketplace.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, installers, and commercial partners, providing tailored product and system solutions.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing long-term customer partnerships.
* Collaborate closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience and successful project delivery.
* Provide regular reporting on pipeline performance, territory activity, and market insights.
About You
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in solar wholesale or distribution sales, ideally working with PV systems, components, or related technologies.
* Confident communicator and consultative relationship builder, comfortable presenting to all levels of the supply chain.
* Proven ability to manage your own region and sales pipeline with a strong focus on results.
* Based within reach of Sheffield, Leicester, or Northampton, with flexibility to travel throughout the Central UK.
* Full UK driving licence essential.
