The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and experienced immigration adviser to join our Global Partnerships and Community Team. The Staff Immigration Adviser reports to the Immigration Legal Adviser, Staff Immigration Service.
Job Description
Grade UE07: £41,064—£48,822 per annum
USG / Edinburgh Global
Full‑time: 35 hours per week
Open‑ended (permanent)
Your Skills & Attributes For Success
* Able to provide regulated immigration advice on key UK visa routes (at least IAA Level 1).
* Keen eye for detail and experience in providing specialist UK immigration advice.
* Passionate about supporting staff and students in times of crisis.
* Confident dealing with often highly confidential and sensitive information.
* Self‑motivated and self‑disciplined, and happy to work in a small team within a large and complex organisation.
* A team player who is approachable and has excellent communication skills
* Proactive in your approach, and deciding when issues need more detailed advice beyond what you can give.
