Home, a place where you belong This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management worker to join our team here in Cumbria. Working to support our older customers (aged 55+) in Cumbria, you’ll be the go-to person for housing and property matters, ensuring homes are safe, tenancies are well managed, and customers feel engaged and supported. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts.
Responsibilities
* Support older residents, many of whom receive care from Lakeland Carers, the on-site team.
* Ensure properties are safe, well-maintained, and feel like home.
* Assist customers with housing benefit claims and rent account management.
* Maintain full occupancy and accurate rent records.
* Conduct routine safety and compliance checks across buildings and communities.
* Handle administrative tasks including record updates, work orders, and payment processing.
* Collaborate with the care team to promote social engagement and purposeful living.

You bring
* A people-first mindset and ideally some experience in property management, compliance, or health & safety.

Job details
* We can be a bit flexible around hours or we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you.
* Able to use technology for creating and updating Health and Safety records, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign-ups.
* Occasionally you will need to cover other schemes or attend team meetings; you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. We’ll pay your mileage.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
