We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surveyor/Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance for our products, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site property surveys and take accurate measurements for window installations.
* Prepare detailed and clear quotations for clients based on survey findings
* Oversee and ensure that all measurements and specs are accuratley communicated
* Undertake replacement/repair work
* Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Install new equipment and systems according to specifications and safety standards.
* Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, installations, and customer interactions.
* Collaborate with other departments to improve product performance and customer experience.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role in a technical environment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
* Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software related to equipment maintenance.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers.
* A valid driving licence is required for travel to client sites.
