Here at Axcis Education, we are recruiting for a full-time teaching assistant to work with reception aged students with additional needs at a mainstream primary school on the outskirts of Preston (PR5). This role is due to begin on January 5th. Pay rates begin at £13.69 per hour (£89 a day) and may increase depending on experience. Transport links are offered from Preston city centre and surrounding areas, and free parking is provided on site. You will be required to work with the pupils in a range of lessons and support the teacher in the delivery of engaging activities. The role will start as soon as possible and candidates applying for this role must be available to work 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. The ideal candidate will have: •Experience working with EYFS / reception aged students •Experience working with children with special educational needs •Full time availability •A reliable and hardworking personality, with strong behaviour management skills •An enhanced DBS check on the update service (if you do not have this, we can guide you through the process) Those from backgrounds such as care, coaching, youth work and support work are also encouraged to apply.
