BAE Systems is seeking contract NC and CMM Programmers to join the team at their Samlesbury or Warton sites. This role focuses on the Military, Air & Information (MAI) sector, specifically within the Air business unit. This position is ideal for professionals looking for a short-term contract with the potential for permanent employment in a challenging and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Conducting NC programming for various parts of the Typhoon and F35 aircraft, including small detail parts. Performing sheet metal trimming and metal scribing tasks. Providing support to the production line by occasionally visiting the shop floor to oversee the implementation of NC programs. Working on Typhoon detail parts and new Typhoon parts. Utilising CATIA V5 for NC programming and/or Camio for CMM programming. Job Requirements: Proficiency in CNC programming. Experience with CATIA V5 and/or Camio for programming tasks. Familiarity with Catia V4 would be advantageous. Understanding of Vericut software is a plus. Additional Information: The contract duration is for 6 months, with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Security level required: BPSS plus SC in flight. Position requires full on-site presence, with the possibility of some flexibility for hybrid working arrangements.
