Role Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients
* Lead planning meetings, assess audit risks, allocate work, and supervise teams
* Review and finalise audit files and statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and UK auditing standards
* Develop strong working relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact throughout engagements
* Train, coach, and support junior and senior members of the audit team
* Liaise with partners on technical matters, findings, and audit strategy
* Ensure compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and internal procedures
* Contribute to internal process improvements and business development activities

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified with significant audit experience in a UK accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting under FRS 102
* Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage a varied portfolio of clients
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confident handling client relationships and delivering strategic advice
* A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on team development
