Join to apply for the Mental Health Practitioner - Tameside CAMHS role at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
We are seeking to employ a number of highly motivated and skilled senior practitioners to join and expand our dynamic, friendly and diverse multi-disciplinary teams. This is a real chance to be a part of the CAMHS transformation long term plan which will improve the mental health outcome for children and young people.
We have opportunities for new fulltime Band 6 CAMHS practitioner posts in Tameside and Glossop CAMHS. These posts are based within core CAMHS, and the duty and assessment team. One of our priorities is supporting our team with their continued professional development. As such, we offer flexibility between the roles to ensure skills and knowledge are offered and expanded in many areas of our service.
CAMHS offers a wide range of mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions including family therapy, CBT, interpersonal therapy, EMDR, play therapy and psychotherapy for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years. You will be encouraged to explore your therapeutic interest alongside providing a range of quality CAMHS assessments/interventions.
Responsibilities will include:
* Providing high quality mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for adolescents and families using evidence-based interventions.
* Managing a defined caseload and undertaking case management responsibilities within the caseload.
* Providing consultation, advice, and training to a wide range of agencies.
We prioritise staff wellbeing and are active in ensuring that our team values are demonstrated in practice and are a vital part of our working culture. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, though there is plenty of opportunity to work flexibly as we are looking to expand our opening hours as part of our service transformation plans and work around your unique needs as an employee.
