Master Technician Location: neath Salary: Up to £17.50 per hour Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:30pm | Alternating Saturdays, 8:00am 1:00pm Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will play a key part in ensuring that all VSI safety inspections and complex vehicle repairs are carried out to the highest possible standards, meeting all legal, regulatory, and company compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Conduct all VSI inspections and carry out required repairs. Perform specialist and complex repairs using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Record all wheel torques, repair details, and QC documentation accurately. Ensure every vehicle meets legal and roadworthy regulations. Prepare comprehensive work lists for authorisation and liaise with the in-house stores team. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the workshop. Ensure correct and lawful use of trade plates during road tests. Uphold all site safety and traffic management policies. Complete all vehicle documentation in line with the Road Traffic Act 1988. Training and Development Take part in internal and external training sessions to further enhance technical skills. About You Fully qualified Technician with proven experience in diagnostic and complex vehicle repairs. Strong understanding of compliance and safety standards.
