We’re looking for a dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Horley primary school. This role is ideal for graduates keen to gain practical classroom experience, particularly those considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or child development.
What We’re Looking For
* A graduate in Psychology (or a related subject)
* Prior childcare or child-related experience is essential (nursery, school, youth work, tutoring, childcare)
* An empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children
* Someone reliable, proactive, and confident working both 1:1 and with groups
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Assisting teachers with engaging lessons and learning interventions
* Helping children with social, emotional, or behavioural needs to thrive in the classroom
* Encouraging positive learning habits, resilience, and self-confidence
* Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
