Our Further Education College in Surrey is seeking a Temporary Plumbing Lecturer to deliver Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
This role offers flexible working hours and a competitive hourly rate, making it ideal for industry experts looking to share their knowledge. Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions for Level 1 and Level 2 plumbing courses.
Develop and update course materials in line with curriculum requirements.
Assess student progress through assignments and practical evaluations.
Provide support and guidance to students, fostering their development.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievements.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
Essential Criteria
Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or a related field.
Proven industry experience in plumbing.
Possession of, or willingness to work towards, a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
Desirable Criteria
Experience in teaching or training within a further education setting.
Familiarity with current educational practices and assessment methods.
