We are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join our team on a 6-month contract to support the planning and delivery of a major highways infrastructure project. This role is offered on a 4-day workweek, with a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 1 from home), providing flexibility while working on a high-impact civil engineering project.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and realistic planning.
Track progress, monitor the critical path, and highlight risks or delays proactively.
Produce progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning dashboards.
Support programme reviews, risk assessments, and contract reporting.
Ensure alignment with NEC contract requirements, resource forecasts, and project milestones. Requirements:
Demonstrable experience as a Planner on highways or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Expert-level skills in Primavera P6 and working knowledge of MS Project.
Solid understanding of NEC contract frameworks and construction sequencing.
Strong communication and coordination skills with both office and site-based teams.
Ability to manage deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment
