Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel projects, including material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
* Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop accurate bids.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and the sales team to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Track project costs and maintain clear records of all estimates and revisions.
* Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations throughout the estimation process.
About You:
* Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural steel industry.
* Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
