Drama Kids (formerly Helen O'Grady Drama Academy) is a Drama Franchise acquired in August 2021. Founded in Australia they operate across 13 countries through a mixture and license agreements and direct franchising. They currently have c. 7,000 students attending classes in the Franchised network.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant who can join our team to support the accounting function, maintain internal controls and deliver a high standard of service to internal and external customers.
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to develop in a friendly, fast paced and exciting organisation.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
* Bank transaction posting and account reconciliations
* Billing and credit control for multiple entities and revenue streams
* Managing inbound calls and email to Finance, internal and external query handling
* Accounting controls and internal reporting
* Participation in and support of annual audits
* Ad-hoc duties as required to support the Finance team and wider business
Knowledge & Skills
Essential:
* Numerate and logical
* Good organisation and time planning skills
* Clear communicator, both written and verbally
* Strong command of IT systems, including Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
* Curious and service orientated
Desirable:
* Recent exposure in Accounts Receivable: KPI ownership, reporting & credit control
* Studying towards an accounting qualification
* Experience working with Microsoft Business Central accounting software
