Job Description for Amazon Advertising Sales Executive
Amazon Advertising provides a rich array of digital display advertising solutions aimed at helping customers find and discover products they want to buy. We assist advertisers in reaching Amazon users across Amazon's sites, external digital properties, and on various devices including PC, mobile, and tablets.
Our rapidly expanding team, Amazon Advertising, focuses on delivering a customer-centric, world-class advertising business. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Executive to leverage Amazon’s personalization technologies to drive performance and display advertising sales across multiple platforms, targeting small to medium-sized advertisers. The role involves maintaining and growing revenue from existing clients and acquiring new clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent sales proposals and customer service to a designated number of advertisers efficiently and promptly.
* Develop new business opportunities and acquire new advertisers.
* Retain and expand revenue from existing advertisers.
* Use CRM tools to track account information and sales progress, forecast, and prioritize to meet quarterly sales targets.
* Regularly communicate with advertisers via email and seminars about our advertising products.
* Analyze data and adopt global best practices to enhance sales scalability.
About the Team
The GGS team is a global organization working with small to mid-sized advertisers, from those with significant transaction history to new entrants. We conduct sales activities through meetings, calls, emails, and webinars, swiftly adapting to new features and improvements to provide tailored solutions and optimization support based on performance data.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.
* Over 5 years of experience in new account development or sales across multiple accounts, handling at least 50 accounts, industry-agnostic.
* More than 3 years of experience working with advertisers, media companies, advertising agencies, or consulting firms.
* At least 3 years of experience in E-commerce or digital advertising.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and solution sales skills.
* Experience in data analysis and business decision-making.
* Native-level Japanese proficiency and conversational English skills.
* Proficiency with Office 365, Salesforce, or similar online tools.
