Chroma are currently working with a successful ecommerce business who are looking to bring on a Scrum Master for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract as part of transition period for the business. This role will operate on a hybrid basis (2 days per week on-site in central Manchester) and is offering up to £55K. The company itself is a specialist ecommerce business catering to a niche market across Europe. You will be working closely with both on and offshore development teams and be involved in key integration projects for the business. What will you be doing? Responsibility for 2 scrum teams running sprint ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint review and retrospectives Using reporting tools such as Jira in order to make data driven suggestions to track and demonstrate improvements Facilitating all scrum ceremonies including stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and sprint reviews Contributing to status update reports that are shared with key business stakeholders Management and escalation of risks relating to e-commerce delivery Using knowledge and experience to recognise opportunities to become more efficient and work with team to implement that change Coordinating content and timing of releases Forecasting deliverables based on sprint velocity Understanding and promoting the idea of incremental and iterative delivery Contributing to Project Management/Project Coordination workloads Essential Skills/Experience Previous Scrum Master (or similar) (at least 3 years) End-to-end SDLC knowledge Experience working with on-shore and off-shore development teams Project Management experience Compliant with rules, regulations and legal requirements It would be great if you also had Experience working in the E-Commerce industry Knowledge of the Hybris Platform Experience of using Jira or similar task planning tool (desirable) If thisFixed Term Scrum Master role sounds like it may be of interest, please get in touch with your CV or apply here!
