Arts Educator role at WMJobs (Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council / Dudley Performing Arts). We are expanding our team and seeking vocal and instrumental teachers (all instruments) to join us as casual staff. Our tutors work across over 90% of Dudley schools, delivering a broad and exciting programme of music education. Opportunities include:
* One-to-one and small group tuition (beginner to undergraduate level)
* Whole-class instrumental teaching
* Early years music sessions
* Work in special education settings
* Leading bands, choirs, and ensembles
* Contributing to our growing out-of-school Music School, based at our state-of-the-art facility at Cable Plaza
We value experienced teachers and are also committed to developing musicians who may be new to education. If you have strong musical skills and a desire to inspire young people, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome applications from musicians of all backgrounds and specialisms. Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group music tuition and support for learners at various levels
* Deliver whole-class instrumental teaching as required
* Lead and support ensembles, bands, choirs, and other musical groups
* Contribute to music education delivery across Dudley schools and partner settings
Qualifications and requirements
