Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Witney to recruit a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £50,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working!
Primary responsibilities;
* Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
* Detailed monthly P&Ls for all operational teams7
* Detailed balance sheet reconciliations including deferred and accrued income to ensure revenue from recurring contracts is recognised in line with group accounting standards
* Close management of WIP (IT equipment and project sales) to ensure gross margins are accurate and recognised in a timely manner.
* Service and product revenue and margin analysis
* Reconciliation of all intercompany balances
* Commentary for group and management on monthly performance versus budget
* Business partner the TIO MD, operational teams and CFO/FD to build the annual budget, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecast, as well as any formal reforecasts required during the financial year.
* Regularly present financial reports to the Managing Director, highlighting important trends, potential financial opportunities, and areas of concern.
Key experience and attributes
* Experience of producing monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
* Experience of Weekly cashflow forecasting
* Confident in their bookkeeping skills
* Comfortable liaising with external advisors and auditors
* Experienced in recording VAT and submitting quarterly returns to HMRC
* Strong Excel skills
* Have a can-do approach to problem solving and be prepared to roll their sleeves up when needed.
