Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils. Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or learning difficulties. Assist with classroom behaviour management and individual student engagement. Deliver small group interventions or one-to-one support where needed. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Requirements for Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach to working with children. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
