Do you have a background in teaching students at both the KS3 and KS4 levels within educational institutions in the UK?
Do you possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for secondary education or an equivalent teaching certification necessary for this position?
We are looking for a passionate and vibrant English educator to become part of our team in Preston, guiding students at both KS3 and KS4 levels. The daily pay rate for this opportunity varies between £155 and £230, depending on your experience, qualifications, and teaching level.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in shaping student's language skills, critical thinking abilities, and appreciation for literature. The primary responsibility is to design and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to explore the depths of language and literature.

Responsibilities:
5. Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
6. Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
7. Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
8. Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
9. Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
10. Set homework and mark promptly
11. Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
12. Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
13. Strong subject knowledge
14. Punctual and reliable
Preferred Skills:
15. Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
16. Strong classroom management
17. Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
18. Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal Attributes:
19. You will have a genuine passion for teaching
20. Experience up to key stage 3/4
21. QTS/PGCE equivalent
22. Be flexible and committed
