As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our software is robust, scalable, and built with quality at its core. You’ll be the go-to expert on testing within the project team, shaping the way we deliver reliable, intuitive technology that supports care professionals every day.
What You’ll Do:
* Take ownership of quality within the project team, advocating for robust, testable, and stable software
* Design, implement, and maintain both manual test scenarios, frameworks, and tools
* Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria and test plans
* Execute manual test suites, and perform exploratory and non-functional testing
* Ensure high-quality reporting on test results, coverage, and defects
* Test web applications and APIs using tools such as Postman and RestSharp
* Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and overall development quality
* Collaborate with developers in maintaining high unit testing standards
What You’ll Bring:
* Strong experience in manual testing of web and app software
* Proficient with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Test rail
* Hands‑on experience testing web applications and REST APIs
* Familiarity with relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL database testing
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
* (Desirable) Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Azure environments
* A proactive mindset and passion for delivering high‑quality software in a collaborative environment
* Hands‑on experience in an agile scrum environment
* (Desirable) Experience or exposure to test automation frameworks
What We Offer:
* A base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 and bonusdepending on experience
* Modern town centre offices in Belfast,with opportunityfor ad hoc home working
* 25 days holiday, increasing with service
