Support Worker - Learning Disabilities & Autism Location: Swanage Hours: 42 hours per week (8am-8pm shifts) Pay: £12.84 per hour Setting: Younger Adults Residential Home (3 residents - Autism & Brain Injury) We are currently recruiting two Support Workers to join a small, stable residential home in Swanage, supporting three younger adults with learning disabilities, including autism and acquired brain injury. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support Assist with personal care, daily routines, and emotional wellbeing Prepare meals and support residents with cooking and nutrition Promote independence and positive engagement Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team What We're Looking For: Must hold a clean UK driver's licence Experience in learning disability or autism care preferred Comfortable with personal care and household tasks NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (Level 3 desirable) Reliable, compassionate, and confident in managing challenging behaviours Male applicants preferred due to the specific needs of the residents Please note: sponsorship is not available for this role.
