About the Role
We are a warm, close knit team with a strong passion for promoting independence and delivering excellent outcomes for people with Learning Disabilities & Autism in Hinckley. Our team is currently looking to recruit Social Workers to take on posts that are presently covered by agency colleagues. These roles are available on both full time and part time permanent contracts.

You will work alongside practitioners who bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and genuine passion for improving the lives of the people we work with and their carers. Due to the nature of the work, we welcome applicants who can demonstrate strong professional judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-centred way of working.
Our office base is in Coalville, where we share duty days. Additional offices are available across the county if you prefer a workspace closer to your visits.
Qualifications and Experience
* Be a qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England.
* Have knowledge of social work methodologies, social care policies such as person-centred approaches and asset based social work, and relevant legislation including The Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
* Have experience of effective assessment and risk management delivery, safeguarding experience, court work experience and multi-agency/multidisciplinary working and/or hospital discharge processes is essential.
* Ideally have experience of working directly with people with Learning Disability and Autism.
* Have experience of partnership working with adults to identify and meet need with creative and pragmatic solutions.
* Be a confident communicator who is skilled in diplomacy, persuasion, assertive and conflict management and able to build effective working relationships and be able to work proactively individually but also as a team member.
* Have good prioritisation and time management skills and have a valid UK driving licence or access to a vehicle.
