System Engineer – SCADA
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Systems Engineer, primarily working within the SCADA team. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, ensuring technical compliance and quality. Your duties will include attending client meetings to discuss design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
As a SCADA Systems Engineer, you will bring innovative problem-solving skills, working alongside highly skilled engineers to support your career development. The ideal candidate will have experience in similar environments and a good knowledge of SCADA systems, particularly GeoSCADA, Wonderware / AVEVA System Platform, FactoryTalk View SE, or WinCC, along with instrumentation and process control automation knowledge.
This is a full-time position from 08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays. The role includes UK site commissioning, which may involve short periods away from home.
Responsibilities include:
* Writing detailed functional design specifications
* Configuring system architecture and network connections
* Producing, modifying, testing, and commissioning SCADA software
* UK site commissioning (may involve travel)
* Managing and motivating a team of engineers (for lead positions)
Minimum Requirements:
* Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
* Certification in GeoSCADA, AVEVA Engineer, or Wonderware System Platform with 2+ years of experience
* Knowledge of Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FTViewSE, or Wonderware Historian (highly desirable)
* Experience in PLC Programming (Rockwell or Siemens)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Clean UK Driving License
* Eligibility to work in the UK
