Job overview We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed Senior Pharmacy Technician to join Dispensary Team. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well organised, have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, be able to adapt to changing demands and be committed to providing a high quality patient focused service. Advert The role of the successful candidate will include: Provide technical support to the dispensary, including the labelling and dispensing of inpatient requests, outpatient and discharge prescriptions, controlled drugs and clinical trials. Ensure a high standard of stock control and stock rotation maintained within dispensary Assist pharmacists in providing a comprehensive patient counselling service to all outpatients, to optimise patient knowledge of their drugs Provide technical support in the dispensary assisting the lead/cheif technicians Work effectively as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary and pharmacy environment, and maintain rapport with medical and other colleagues.
