Grade/Job Title: Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist
The Post holder will:
* Be competent as appropriate to the requirements of the role.
* Put people at the heart of what we do, empowering people to improve care and wellbeing, delivering better health and care in partnership.
* Be a specialist occupational therapist with detailed professional and clinical knowledge, focusing on areas such as rehabilitation, integrated community, community intervention, and reablement.
* Be responsible for a defined population of service users across community and hospital settings within the Trust.
* Assess complex/specialist care/support needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care/support packages.
* Possess supervisory, training, and leadership responsibilities where appropriate, with some responsibility for team performance and service development.
* Demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
* Work with the team leader on delegated tasks related to team management.
