At Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care to over 750 babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions, and support around 3,000 family members across the East Midlands. We’re here to brighten short lives and support families wherever they are. We are recruiting a full-time Band 5 Rotational Nurse to join our Clinical Team, working across both our Hospice at Home and Hospice Care Teams on a permanent 6-month rotation. For 6 months, you will deliver care in the community, supporting children and young people in their homes, providing short breaks and support to families. For the following 6 months, you will work within the hospice, delivering high-quality, family-led care in a specialist setting. This rotation then repeats. This is a unique opportunity to build a wide-ranging skill set in children’s palliative care across both home and hospice environments, supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative multidisciplinary team. Hospice at Home – Location & Hours Based at the hospice, with travel across the East Midlands (Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire). A full UK driving licence is essential. 37.5 hours per week, rota between Monday–Sunday, 8:00am–6:00pm.
