We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated, and well-organised Administration Support Assistant to join our dedicated Clinical Admin Team. In this fixed-term role, you’ll play a key part in helping ensure the smooth running of our clinical services—enabling our doctors, nurses, and therapists to focus on delivering outstanding care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. What You’ll Be Doing: As Clinical Administration Support, you’ll be joining a warm, collaborative team of Clinical Administrators who play a vital role in the smooth running of our hospice services. The Clinical Admin Team is the backbone of day-to-day operations, ensuring our clinical staff are supported with efficient, compassionate, and accurate administration. Working closely with nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, you’ll help ensure they have everything they need to deliver exceptional care to patients and families. The work is fast-paced and varied—but you’re never on your own. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values communication, mutual support, and a shared commitment to Ashgate Hospice’s mission: to provide, educate, and campaign for excellent palliative and end-of-life care and bereavement support. Your key responsibilities will include: Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, photocopying, shredding, and printing. Accurately input and update patient information on clinical systems under supervision (e.g., SystmOne, JACS, CareFlow). Answer incoming telephone calls, take clear messages, and forward to appropriate team members in a timely manner. What you’ll bring: You’ll hold previous experience in an administration and support role.
