JOB FUNCTION Company Background: We design, manufacture and sell electronic wheel safety products for commercial vehicles. These include Tyre Pressure, Wheel Loss and Temperature Monitoring Systems. Fundamental Purpose: This new role will develop our telemarketing activity. Its primary function is to research and call prospective customers in the commercial transportation markets to create sales appointments for our sales team to follow up. This role is office based working 36.5 hours per week; 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday with a 30 min break for lunch, 09:00 to 13:30 on Friday. Role responsibilities: Make outgoing phone calls to secure qualified sales appointments for our sales team. Define the size of the opportunity. Enter customer information into company database. Arrange follow up sales calls if required. Maintain working knowledge of products and sales proposition.Knowledge, skills and experience: Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient in English. Persistent and results-oriented. Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
