Overview
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our client in Hampshire, delivering expert psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments within a supportive mental health framework. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to adult patients, including those requiring rehabilitation and complex case management in a dynamic NHS/private setting known for clinical excellence and professional development.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
* Develop and implement personalised treatment plans
* Collaborate with MDTs including psychologists and nurses
* Manage adult patient caseloads across mental health services
* Lead rehabilitation-focused interventions where needed
* Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to service development
Essential Requirements
* GMC registration with specialist training in psychiatry
* Proven experience in adult mental health services
* Rehabilitation psychiatry experience preferred
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* Commitment to multidisciplinary team working
