We are looking for hard-working, chefs in BBQ restaurant new to the caernarfon area.
Think big bbq world flavours, a menu bursting with fresh flavours. We use smoking processes of meat and cook over coals for those special flavours
We are looking to open this new concept and have chef roles of all levels.
Part time and full time
We also have chef opportunities in Beaumaris and menai bridge
Key areas & responsibilities include:
Assisting in providing first class food for guests with good product knowledge, covering the varying shifts of lunch and dinner, Monday to Sunday.
Assisting with leading, supervising and training of other team members with positive motivation.
Demonstrating knowledge of areas such as COSHH, HSE at Work, EHO requirements, Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness.
Assisting with operations, stock control and management of all purchases and relevant equipment.
Assisting with liaising with suppliers, ordering, complaint handling and problem solving to drive the business forward.
Have you?
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
* Experience in menu development and culinary innovation.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in hospitality settings. This role offers an engaging environment for passionate culinary professionals eager to showcase their skills while leading a dedicated team towards excellence in every dish served.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
