JOB DESCRIPTION
As our Electronic Design Engineer working in our R&D department you will design and develop electronic circuitry and firmware for portable and handheld electrical equipment, and redesign existing products for annual product launches.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment.
* Maintenance of existing product line, e.g. due to component obsolescence, changes in standards, etc.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Ideally you will have a proven track record of product design in electronic and electrical equipment such as test and measurement equipment (medical, industrial, commercial), domestic goods, personal electronics and others. Candidates with inverter development experience or EV BMS design are generally strong matches.
* Programming of real‑time embedded firmware.
* Proficiency in C.
* Analogue & digital electronic design.
* Schematic capture using Altium or similar.
* Experience of high‑voltage technology designs.
* Designing products to a set of legal and safety standards.
* Any exposure to ST MCU design would be an advantage.
