Electrical Project Engineer £55,000 - £65,000 Pension, Healthcare, Employee Assistance Ayrshire Ref: 25374 Electrical Project Engineer - The Role: Lead and deliver electrical engineering projectsfrom concept through to completion Oversee design, installation, and maintenance of LV/HV distribution, control, and lighting systems Produce technical drawings and specifications using tools such as AutoCAD Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental regulations Support hazardous area (ATEX) documentation and explosive environment compliance Manage contractors and ensure safe, high-quality project delivery Develop and improve engineering standards, procedures, and policies Support capital project planning and investment proposals Contribute to energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives across site Electrical Project Engineer - The Person: Proven experience in electrical project engineering within an industrial or high-hazard environment Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems Familiarity with BS 7671 and safe systems of work (RAMS, PTW, etc.) Experience producing electrical designs and drawings (AutoCAD or similar) Understanding of ATEX regulations (or willingness to develop expertise) Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders Strong communication and organisational skills Located in Ayrshire, this role would be commutable from Irvine, Kilmarnock, Prestwick, Ayr and Glasgow.
